To gain something we have to lose something. Last year Visakhapatnam had undergone the brunt of nature's fury. With its resilience, it has rebounded for which I am happy. There are some unlucky persons who are yet to recover, for which I pray to Ganapati.

Before opting for a special residence we should be prepared for some unforeseen problems and calamities. If you need a residence in the heart of the city, be prepared for traffic pollution and noise. If you want tranquility at a money place, be prepared for threats of robbers or animals. If you want a sea face residence, be ready for the tidal fury.

However Devotees around this place have done very good service many times during calamities, for which I am proud.

During the distribution of relief materials some exceptions of misconduct are reported. It is similar to a puppy going for the biscuit packet, which dropped from the hands of her master who has fallen down. Instead of rescuing the master, it's senses are attracted towards the biscuits. That is the tendency of animals. Humans should be above that lure of senses.

Environmental awareness is must in the society. Every one in the city wants a car for each member of the family. All the roads are jammed with excessive usage of vehicles. Instead of focusing on our necessities, we hoard materials such as clothes, shoes or foot ware. It never occurs to us, that we can't wear all of them. We can part with some of them by giving few pieces to our workers.

We will go to any extent to destroy other creatures to satiate our hunger and taste buds. What for? What is the end point of this craving? Animals, insects, birds are slaughtered in the name of modernity and food festivals. These are some of the samples of our greed and major fault lines.

If you travel on the wrong side of the road, accident is a must. The manager of the creation has a way to balance this. If some major mistakes are committed by sections of populace, *** has his way of neutralising those effects. Natural calamities are part of this balancing. Don't blame *** for them. He has larger duty and design to maintain the Universe.

Look at a farmer. He burns the stubble in the farm. At times, the residue is fermented for manure. Is it not ungrateful, that you are destroying the plants that fed you? It is a way of balancing.

We come across an instance where the tigers are prowling on the roads. Man hunts them down for his safety. But is it not a fact that we are killing other animals for your mistake of settling down in their habitat? This colonisation is part of the human blunder series. May *** give us the discretion to lead a good life which is a model to others.

We are in the vicinity of Chintamani Ganapati. Chinta means our desires and sorrows. He is the one who gets them for you and removes sorrows. Our thought process is laden with negativity. We worry about the loss and non maturity. Start positively.
