We are born, we are growing, we are consuming food, we are naming ourselves after our parents, we are remembering our lineage and following our family traditions, we are worshiping our family deity at least annually despite troubles we face periodically and may find an interruption once in a while, as we are maintaining by and large our customary habits. We should at least mentally and psychologically serve our deities.
We eat Prasadam, relishing the taste with our tongue. We listen to the Mantras only with our ears. We appreciate the beauty of the decoration of the deity and the temple with our eyes. We do circumambulation/Pradakshina of the deity or the temple, using our legs. We listen to bhajans, applaud, and we feel happy. Our senses experience and enjoy all these activities. However, all of the above only involve our sensory organs. We go home, feel tired, go to bed, and forget all the happenings of the day. We get up, take a warm bath and forget yesterday’s events and remember to engage in them only a year later when the occasion comes again. We have only involved our sense organs here. What is seen, heard, tasted and so on, does not remain in our memory. We have not registered any of the experiences in the mind. That is why we forget. The Mind, the Jeevatma also must be involved. It is also like another sense ***. It must also experience the events. Only then, we are able to pave a path to merge the Jeevatma, the individual soul with the Paramatma, the Supreme Soul.
Many people wonder why, even after having performed so many rituals and having given to so many charities, they still face troubles in life. Mentally you must get involved. Your attention should be placed on the actions. The mind cannot leave off these activities. If you scold *** for your troubles, He is not the loser. Just because you have visited the temple He is not overjoyed. If you do not show up, He is not going to give up His food. He remains still and unmoved at all times. He knows that your conscience, which is a witness to all your thoughts and actions will see that you receive justice. He remains simply as an onlooker. Night and day He remains the same, whether or not you do abhishekam, or offer Naivedyam. Whatever form you give Him, He assumes it.
The clouds come, it rains, and food is produced. The beauty in nature, the change of seasons, who is responsible for them? The government? No. Nature is responsible. We say *** is responsible. *** is someone we do not know. Have you seen Him? No. You believe in Him because your elders have told you to do so. I trust the words of my elders, my parents, and my Guru. They have shared their experiences with me. *** may say that Karma is my ***. But I believe that my faith is my ***. Karma eats it away. We eat, we criticize and scold, we sleep, and we do so many different actions. But none of those remain. We use the body to experience the joys and sorrows through the sense organs. The pain of the eye, the eye feels. The intellect has no part in it. It does not experience. *** is disinterested in our joys and sorrows. But He, who is invisible, exists in the five elements, which are represented in us by the five senses. We must get involved with devotion in the bhajans and register them in our minds. If the Jeevatma gets involved, *** will answer all our questions, such as who are you, who is the wife? Who is the husband? He answers questions about our parents, our lives. Our entire life, if we only spend with only sensory experiences, nothing remains. Listen to Divya Nama Sankeertana/Bhajans with devotion and complete attention and focus. Then you will experience true bliss, and transcendental joy.
If you register things in your mind and keep recollecting, then the experience lasts with you lifelong. The joy you feel in listening wholeheartedly to a bhajan, you will retain.
The person in a coma, has breath, and life force, but cannot communicate. The subtle perceptions of the senses are alive and the individual hears your talk about waiting for the person to die. When he comes out of the coma, he will get even with you. The sensory pleasures do not last. They do not benefit us. What should we do then? Follow the path of devotion. In the Hanuman Chalisa, if you place your attention fully on Lord Hanuman with every word that you chant, then you feel Hanuman’s presence with you throughout. You will listen to the Hanuman Chalisa then, day and night, during sleep and wakefulness.
Why do great souls always appear happy? They are laughing at you, that you have not yet grasped the truth. They are not smiling to pose for photographs. They give guidance to people as to what they should and should not do.
Did you all imagine that Swamiji would be here with you today? No. Not yesterday. Not the day before. What comes to you unasked, is true grace. I said: do not invite anyone. I just wish to see the premises and the progress that has been made. Just invite the committee members. But here, so many of you have come. You are very fortunate. Why has Swamiji not visited earlier? It is not because of your lack of devotion. Swamiji is traveling worldwide. Time factor is involved. He is constantly searching for devotees who need his guidance and support. He is searching for those who have to travel with him to Vaikuntha. Today I felt drawn to come here. I love Nizamabad. Except for two or three persons, the rest of you are all innocent and pure devotees.
Maintain this love for Swamiji. Every one of you should participate in the upcoming Kumbhabhishekam. A temple should not be built by one single individual. Every person’s contribution should be there. All the stars, all the constellations must work together. Sometimes the earth swerves. It is not in our control. As long as the stars remain, even if the earth should topple, this temple must endure. We are all like tiny insects in this vast Creation. The earth itself is just a speck in the view of the Creator.
We think we are great and that our intelligence is great. We are nothing. Each planet and star is like a mustard seed. Scientists are constantly discovering new spheres. No one can know everything.
We can only pray for ***’s blessings to know ourselves and our relationship with ***. Swamiji has resolved to build a temple here. Pray to Lord Hanuman and Lord Venkateswara. If you get the temple ready, I will come running to perform the consecration. The whole world is waiting. All of you must serve. Record the Hanuman Chalisa. Hanuman will bring Lord Venkateswara here, as he has brought Lord Siva. Let us dedicate all our services to ***. You have done a lot of chanting. But it is not enough. You must do more. I wish to conduct some great programs here. I hesitated this long because I am waiting for your full participation. You also wish for a significant program to be held here, not just some small program. Sampath and co-devotees came to Hyderabad, having given up hope of my visit. But I have come.
It has rained. It like a shower of pearls. It is a blessing. Maintain your faith.
Place a dot on your forehead. In Nepal, a man lost his entire family. Seeing all the cadavers lined up, he told the military that he needed to go home to bathe, wear the dot on the forehead, and praise Lord Siva that he has taken all his family members. He now waited to join Lord Siva. This is true devotion. Scolding *** is a demonic trait.
Whether or not you recognize it, *** always does what is beneficial for you. If you keep crying, or laughing, it is all up to ***. Accept ***’s will totally. Then you will at once succeed. Develop such determination. Then you can learn from observing the world. Never feel envy. Learn from others only their good qualities. Ignore their bad traits.
I stopped in London recently. The London devotees said, as they were building the temple, they have received a circular that every one of them should wear a dot on the forehead. There are some other citizens of other countries, who look like Indians, whom some of the Britishers do not like and they are being attacked and injured. There is a huge Gujarati community in London. They have unanimously agreed that all Hindus must henceforth wear a dot on the forehead as an identity mark. This way, their lives are saved. They are not mistaken for the citizens of those other countries. They are recognized at once as Hindus, and left in peace.
Those who are born as Hindus, all my devotees, who worship either Vishnu or Siva, you will benefit by wearing a dot on your forehead. There is a Lambika Chakra on the forehead, if when exposed, loses its energy. It has to be kept covered. Now even the Americans believe this. Wearing the dot prevents the evil eye from falling on you. Nazar is another name for it.
The Americans like wearing the dot when they come to the Dallas temple. You will see it in the video. When people are talking to you, their attention is drawn to the dot, then to the nose. It deflects the bad vibrations and attracts the good vibrations. Some wear it big. Some wear it small. Even a small dot is good. It need not be big. Even men may wear it. Angar, kumkum, sindoor, or paste. There are some that can be washed off, and some that are water proof. Chant the name of *** as you wear the dot. That will fill every cell of your body with divine energy. Sandalwood paste also may be worn. Sindoor contains millions of particles. Each one contains powerful energy. I like wearing the dot. Those who like me, may wear the dot.
Soon, Swamiji wishes to revisit. You all appear very happy. I wander and travel all over the globe. Country to country I roam. Swamiji’s lifespan is spent in aircrafts.
68 countries are chanting the Hanuman Chalisa, people of other religions are also chanting. Swiss devotees are chanting as a large group, the Hanuman Chalisa in a Christian Hall. Everywhere they are doing. On Skype they communicate with Swamiji. You should also bring more energy to this place. Fulfill our dream. It is a small dream and yet, something is blocking the fulfillment of it. Whose mistake is causing the hindrance, we do not know. O Lord, please come here soon. Bless the devotees of Nizamabad. Remove their troubles. May the consecration ceremony occur very soon.
