Speech of HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji after sangeeta seva in the morning - August 12, 2012 - Mysore

This bhajans group is from Mysore. They are doing excellent, unselfish service to popularize Swamiji’s bhajans. They sing, whether or not Swamiji is present there. All these children have grown up here. They all have some music background. They Hyderabad bhajans group comes after Chennai group. Over a decade ago they started having the Bhajanotsavam. Now I wish to see the Mysore group touring different places giving programs of Swamiji’s bhajans, the way the other groups do. The Delhi group also is doing great service. They have even made a CD. Let this group also select some songs and make a CD. Hyderabad children, 40 of them play Swamiji’s bhajans on the violin. Ratnakara Sharma has started a school, Sachchidananda Kala Peetha to teach and popularize Swamiji’s bhajans. You should also do more, without disturbing your studies or careers. Render the songs, after giving the meaning of the lyrics, so that the listeners get full benefit. This group has practiced even difficult songs and are singing them very well, like the song, Hey Jana Gana.

Sri Guru Datta
