Sri Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji – Nadaloka Raga Sagara concert – September 23, 2010 - Warangal Ashrama
Today is full moon, Uttarabhadra star. All the deities are in the sky energizing all the planets. Full Moon and New Moon days are very powerful. They cause high tide and low tide in the oceans.
This concert is taking place in the presence of Lord Varada Datta Swami in Warangal on the day of consecration. It is very special. Main raga is Subhapantuvarali which works on all the chakras and is composed of the energies of all five elements. Dheera Sankarabharanam raga which follows it works on the Mooladhara Chakra and relieves pain in the thighs. It works on Fire element. Sama raga works with Air element. Relieves pain in calves and ankles. Helps with Blood Pressure problems, and lack of sufficient blood. In all 7 ragas will be played.
For 30 years Sri Swamiji is floating, dipping in, swimming, and exloring for precious gems in this ocean of Ragas. Your benefit depends on how you listen. Each raga scale, and each sound produced by the musical instruments works on every nerve in the body. Swamiji observes the aura system in the audience and plays the ragas accordingly. Some ragas he may play for 5 minutes, half and hour, or an hour and a half. It is not in his control. Do not talk. Just listen. We are very lucky to be at this place, on this very auspicious day, on the day of Pratishta. It is history making. This is something to cherish. Please drink water now and then. Sip a little water before we commence the program.
The first song Pranava Swaroopam announces what is going to come ahead, the collection of four ragas which will work from Mooladhara Chakra upwards will create vibrations in the system to effect a transformation. Sit back and enjoy by relaxing.
Gana Gana Mrogedu is the second piece that is now being played.
