SGS HOSPITAL

Healthcare activities at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram, Avadhoota Datta Peetham, began in the mid-1970s. Initially, a small dispensary was set up in the Ashram where a visiting physician treated minor ailments. In the late 1970s, the "Humanity Service Center" was established in a new building, now known as Manipadma Kuteera. By the early 1990s, medical services expanded to the Swami Narahari Teertha Complex, renamed as SGS Hospital, Holistic Health Centre.

This facility provides outpatient services in Ayurveda, Allopathy, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, and other alternative medicine systems, along with Ayurvedic inpatient services. The center was inaugurated by former President of India, Sri R. Venkataraman, and then Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri S.M. Krishna.

SGS Hospital also initiated a rural mobile clinic, using a van equipped for patient examinations and free medication distribution to rural areas. Before these formal healthcare activities, Sri Swamiji offered herbal therapies to visitors and supervised the preparation of herbal oils for treating body pains and skin ailments.
In 2012, during Sri Swamiji's 70th birth year, the free SGS Hospital Polyclinic Day Care Centre (Allopathy) services began in a new building, registered under the KPME Act 2009.
