SDHS - SRI DATTA HUMANE SERVICES
 
SDHS (Sri Datta Humane Services), associated with Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram, is a charitable and spiritual organization founded by Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji. The organization focuses on various forms of humanitarian and social service activities guided by the principles of compassion, service, and spirituality.
 
Sri Swamiji says - "At the end of our life, what good we did to the world is what matters, not how much we amassed for ourselves! Lasting happiness lies in serving others in their times of need!"
 
In the sphere of spiritual realization, "Service" has an immense importance. Those who seek liberation should have only one goal. It is Service indeed! Avadhoota Datta Peetham is a world renowned institution for the social, moral and spiritual welfare of mankind. Sri  Swamiji, the Peetadhipathi of Avadhoota Datta Peetham not only emanates a genuine self realized spiritual aura and projects the truth of Lord Dattatreya’s vision, but also reminds people of their social responsibility towards their fellow beings and encourages them to participate in social welfare activities.

It is with this endeavour that Lord Dattatreya incarnated in the form of Sadguru Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji with a clear message, vision and tools necessary for fulfilling the aims of the incarnation. SDHS volunteers are one among the several such tools of this divine incarnate!

It has been the motto of Sri Swamiji & His organizations all over the world to serve the humanity without the barricades of caste, creed, race or religion. As Sri Swamiji made it clear many times that Humanity is His Religion, Music is His Language and Devotion is His methodology, these are the principles on which the core organization of Sri Swamiji viz The Avadhoota Datta Peetham of Mysuru and its social activity wing Sri Datta Humane Services stands.

Sri Datta Humane Services is a volunteer corp dedicated to the service to Sri Swamiji & His Ashrams and related social programs in India & abroad. The main motto of this work force is to be one of serving humanity with love and affection under the guidance of Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji and as per His plans.

Discipline, Dedication, Devotion and Discretion are the four pillars of strength of this work force. In essence, this is an organization meant to serve the services of Sri Swamiji.

Services offered by SDHS Team:
SDHS, the charitable wing of SGS Ashram is involved in a wide range of social and humanitarian activities which include:
 
1. Medical Camps and Health Services: Providing free medical check-ups, Pulse-Polio Drive, Blood Donation Camps, donation of stretchers and other support equipment to the differently abled, surgeries, and treatments to underprivileged communities.
 
2. Educational Support: Offering scholarships, school supplies, and infrastructure support to students from economically weaker sections.
 
3. Disaster Relief: Active participation in providing relief materials and rehabilitation support during natural calamities such as floods, earthquakes, and pandemics.
 
4. Environmental Initiatives: Promoting tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and awareness programs about environmental conservation.
 
5. Animal Welfare: Caring for abandoned and injured animals through shelters and veterinary services.
 
6. Community Events: Rendering of tremendous service to the pilgrims during major socio – religious – community events.
