SRI RAJARAJESHWARI TEMPLE
 
On the left side of the Universal Prayer Hall at Avadhoota Datta Peetham, is the most beautifully and intricately designed temple for Mother Goddess Rajarajeswari, which was consecrated by Sri Swamiji on Dec 28, 2023. As devotees circumambulate around the deity, they can witness the intricately designed forms of Nava Durgas namely - Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri. The miniature forms of the deities of 18 Shakti Peethams, several Devi Yantras and Mandalams are also designed in the premises where devotees circumabulate to the Goddess . Sri Swamiji has also installed a big Sri Chakra in the premises of Goddess Rajarajeshwari to which devotees can personally offer their prayers with Kumkum Archana.
 
Inauguration of Sri Rajarajeshwari Devi Temple:
The idol of Goddess Sri Rajarajeshwari Devi was consecrated by Sri Swamiji at SGS Ashrama, Mysuru on Dec 28, the historic day for Avadhoota Datta Peetham.
 
On Dec 27, Maha Snapana, Dhaanyaadhivaasa, Ghruta Adhivaasa, Praasaada Adhivaasa, Shayya Adhivaasa and Raksha Homa for Sri Raja Rajeswari Devi Pratishta were conducted. On Dec 28, the rituals associated with the consecration ceremony began with Homa, Shanthi Poustika Homa, Moola Mantra Homa and Durga Saptashati. The idol of Sri Rajarajeshwari devi was consecrated during Meena Lagna at 12 noon. After consecrating the idol of Sri Rajarajeshwari, Sri Swamiji performed ablutions to Mother Goddess, followed by Kumbhabhisheka and Brahma Kalasha Abhisheka atop the Devi temple. From the afternoon, thousands of devotees had the sacred darshan of Sri Rajarajeshwari Devi.
 
On Dec 29, Sri Swamiji performed the first Abhisheka for the newly consecrated Sri Raja Rajeshwari Devi. Abiding by the command of Sri Swamiji, devotees from all over the world had written millions of Lalita Sahasrama books prior to the consecration of Devi Temple.

Annadana to the devotees
 
Mandala Pooja of Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple:
Special Mandala Poojas for Sri Raja Rajeshwari Devi were performed from Feb 4-6 at SGS Ashrama, Mysuru in the divine presence of Sri Swamiji and Sri Balaswamiji. Sri Swamiji performed Sugandha Dravya Abhisheka for Sri Raja Rajeshwari Devi followed by pearl maala Archana on Feb 5. On Feb 6 - the 40th day from the day of consecration and the main day of Mandala Pooja, Sri Swamiji performed a special Archana to Sri Raja Rajeshwari Devi and offered Annakoota as Naivedya to Mother Goddess.
 
Annakoota involves offering a big heap of rice along with Pancha Bhaksya (the five types of eatables), several varieties of other dishes, sweets and savories. Over 75 different food items covering Bhakshya, Bhojya, Choshya, Lehya & Paneeya were arranged in the hall in front of Devi temple. The temple surroundings was decorated with various food items. Sri Swamiji performed elaborate Pooja around the food items as Naivedya. This offering of Annakoota in Mysuru Ashrama was the first of its kind in the history of Datta Peetham. Elaborate Annadanam was performed to thousands of devotees who had come for the final day Mandala Puja and Anna Koota programs.
