Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji visited Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple in Frisco, Texas for the Kalasha Sthapana atop the grand Rajagopuram for Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple.
Pujya Swamiji arrived in Frisco on the morning of 23 June 2019.
In the evening, Pujya Swamiji visited the temple and gave Darshana to devotees. Pujya Swamiji inquired about posts from the SGS Posts mobile app from the audience. His Holiness instructed users to engage with posts by “liking” them and not just scrolling by. Later Sri Swamiji participated in the evening Arati.
On 24th evening, Sri Swamiji inaugurated the Vedic programs, including Rutvikvarana, Ankuraropana, and MahaGanapathy Homa for the Kalasha Pratishtha atop the Raja Gopuram.
The Raja Gopuram is 70 feet tall, has five tiers and stands majestic in front of the Hanuman temple. The Raja Gopuram is built in South Indian architectural style. On the east and sides are Hanuman Murtis. On the south is Dakshina Murthy and on the west are Chaturmukha Brahma statues.
On 25th evening, Pujya Swamiji visited the temple and performed Abhishekam to the seven Kalashas and offered Purnahuti of Sudarshana Homa.
On 26th morning, Pujya Swamiji placed Yantras in front of Hanuman and offered Puja & Arati. The seven Kalashas were brought from Yaga Shala and placed in front of Hanuman. Sri Swamiji tied Vastram around the 4.5 feet tall brass Kalashas which were smeared with gold foil.
The sculpture team members of main temple architect Subramanya Sthapathy carried the Kalashas and the priests carried the Yantras to the top of Raja Gopuram and at 10.27 AM, the Yantra Pratishtha and Kalasha Sthapana were performed. Pujya Sri Swamiji and devotees, sitting in temple hall, watched the live video feed of the events streamed from the top of Raja Gopuram.
The priests then performed final Homas and Purnahuti was offered. They brought the sacred water from Pratishtha Kalasha to Pujya Sri Swamiji who sprinkled them on the priests.
Sri Swamiji then materialised a golden ring and blessed it to Subramanya Sthapathy. He was moved to tears and remembered the event when he along with his aged mother came to Mysuru Ashrama seeking work. Sri Swamiji gave him work of sculpting Tambooras in Nada Mantapa. Sri Swamiji had told his mother "I will make your son a world famous Sthapathy".... Remembering this Subrahmanya Sthapathy was moved to tears. He said - he always wondered why Sri Swamiji did not materialise any talisman for him. Today was the day.
At 4 PM, Pujya Sri Swamiji travelled by road from Frisco to Houston.
