Pujya Swamiji's Sankeertana Saptaha in Hanuman Temple, Frisco Thanksgiving Holidays 18-25 November 2018
Pujya Sri Swamiji graced Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple in Frisco, Dallas for one week from 18th to 25th November 2018. This week also coincided with thanks giving holidays in the United States.
Sri Swamiji arrived in Dallas on 18th evening at 9 PM from Mexico City.
Braving the 4 degree celsius cold weather, many devotees welcomed Pujya Swamiji at Guru Nilayam.
19th November being Monday & Karthika Maasa Somavara, Pujya Swamiji performed Abhisheka with milk and water to the pure crystal Shiva Linga in the Hanuman temple. Priests chanted Veda Mantras during Abhisheka.
At 11.30 AM, Sri Siddheswarananda Bharati Swamiji from Siddeswari Peetham , Courtallam, Tamil Nadu arrived at the temple.
Pujya Swamiji and the visiting Swamiji took Darshana and Arati of Karya Siddhi Hanuman. Later, both Swamiji graced the stage and gave Darshana to devotees who had gathered in large numbers.
Sri.Prakasa Rao, Chairman of Datta Yoga Center gave a welcome speech. Sri.Ramakrishna Vellanki, Sri.Jayesh Thakkar, trustees of temple honored the visiting Swamiji.
Pujya Sri Siddheswarananda Bharati Swamiji in his benedictory address remembered meeting Pujya Sri Swamiji in Vijayawada earlier and also before His Sannyasa Deeksha at Gunturu. He spoke about the dedicated devotion of Hindus in United States to the great tradition of Hinduism. He cited several examples. He extolled Pujya Swamiji’s efforts in preserving our tradition through developing new Ashramas and inculcating the Nama Sankeertana tradition among devotees.
Pujya Sri Swamiji in His benedictory address spoke about the all encompassing nature of our tradition and the simple ways to follow it.
Sri Swamiji presented a replica model of Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple to the visiting Swamiji.
He was accompanied by Mataji Ramyaananda Saraswati Swaminiji.
In the evening, Pujya Swamiji gave a discourse on the bad effects of harboring thoughts of hatred and the destruction in causes in thoughts, speech, action and thus leading to bad and stressful life and health.
Sri Swamiji sang the Bhajan “Isha Pateesha” on Lord Shiva.
Sri Swamiji made the audience chant OM for about twenty minutes.
Sri Swamiji released Yoga pants and desktop calendar for 2019 published by Datta Kriya Yoga group.
Later, Sri Swamiji unveiled a “Community Service Photos” wall in the temple premises. It showcased photos of various community outreach activities of Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple. Sri.Sankaran Hariharan, Smt.Sunita Cheruvu and Dr. Prakasa Rao explained the activities to Pujya Swamiji.

During Sri Chakra Puja by Pujya Swamiji, Dallas Satsang group sang Bhajans. Pujya Swamiji blessed the audience by answering questions on spiritual subjects.
Sri Swamiji viewed the Indianization works going on the western side of the temple by Temple architect, Sri Subramanian Sthapathi and his team of sculptors.

During Sri Chakra Puja, Dattatreya children from Dallas area sang Vajra Kavacha & Maha Lakshmi Ashtaka from memory. They had memorized in two months and later 3rd & 4th chapter Bhagavad Gita singing by 4th batch Gita Memorizers.
Appaji gave Swamiji lockets to devotees.

Sri Swamiji met Bhutanese refugees who had come for thanks giving to Swamiji
Pujya Swamiji spoke on thanks giving and Karthika Purnima.
In the afternoon hundreds of devotees performed Satyanarayana Vratam in the temple hall.

During Sri Chakra Puja various devotees sang new Navaratri Bhajans from this year.
Sri Swamiji later launched a grand Raffleby Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple to rise funds for Raja Gopura.

Late night, Sri Swamiji visited to Vitruvian park in Plano to see special lights on trees specially illuminated as part of Thanksgiving to New Year celebrations.
