Kumbhabhisheka & Prana Pratishtha of Adi Guru Dattatreya & Anagha Devi, Karya Siddhi Hanuman & Raja Rajeshvari Devi temples

Parma Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji performed Pratishtapana and Kumbhabhishekam of newly built temples for Karya Siddhi Hanuman, Adi Guru Dattatreya - Anagha Devi and Raja Rajeshvari Devi, Shrines of Shiva Lingam, Ganapathy, Subrahmanya, Hayagreeva and Dhanvantari were also inaugurated.
Sri Swamiji arrived in Chennai on 1st March 2018. Sri Bala Swamiji had arrived a day earlier on 28 February and had inaugurated the Pratishtha rituals in the Pratishtha Yaga Shala headed by Sri.Vamshi Krishna Ghanapathi.
On 2nd morning, Sri Swamiji toured the newly built temple complex and appreciated the temple architecture of Sri Subramania Sthapathy, the sculptor who headed the Dallas Hanuman temple and 85 feet tall Hanuman in Trinidad.
Sri Swamiji was accorded a warm welcome program later in the morning.
In the evening a Bharatanatyam dance ballet based on the 1000 names of mother goddess in Lalitha Sahasranama was performed by Smt.Rajeswari Sainath and her students.
On 3rd morning, After Sri Chakra Pujya by Sri Bala Swamiji, Sri Swamiji arrived at Sachchidananda Hall and blessed devotees. Sri.Narasimhan, Dharmakarta of ancient Shiva temple in Bandi Kavanoor village spoke to devotees and invited them for the Kumbhabhishekam of renovated Shiva temple in that village by Pujya Sri Swamiji on 14 March 2018. Later Sri Swamiji visited Yaga Shala and performed Abhishekams to the deities during Adhivasa program. In the evening Sri Swamiji sang Bhajans in the Sachchidananda Hall. Sri Swamiji remembered the story of Ashrama building in Chennai and recalled services of many devotees. Sri Swamiji remembered the north facing small Hanuman shrine earlier. He was happy that all three shrines have now been built at a much higher to avoid the flooding during rain season.
On 4th morning at 7.15 AM in the auspicious Meena Lagna, Pujya Sri Swamiji performed “Yantra Pratishtha” to the Hanuman temple. Raja Rajeswari Temple and Dattatreya & Anagha Devi temple. Sri Bala Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja. Pujya Sri Swamiji blessed the audience with Pratishtha discourse.
At 10.30 AM, Pujya Sri Swamiji performed Maha Purnahuti of Pratishtha Homas and priests performed Kalasha Visarjana. Sri Swamiji carried Kalasham atop the temple and first performed Kumbhabhishekam of Raja Rajeshvari temple tower followed by Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple and Dattatreya Temple. After pouring water on the Kalashas atop the temple tower, Sri Swamiji also offered flowers, paddy puffs, flower petals and coins. Sri Swamiji then toed a ochre clothe around the Kalasha and offered Arati.
After the Kumbhabhishekam, Sri Swamiji spoke from atop the temple tower and prayed the deities to bless and protect the world and it’s living beings. Sri Swamiji prayed for peace, harmony and happiness. Sri Swamiji also called on people to tread the path of righteousness. Devotees loudly shouted “Jayam Jayam - when Sri Swamiji chanted - Dharma and Veda.
Over six thousand people had spread across the area of Velacheri to watch this divine Kumbhabhishekam by Sri Swamiji - the first one in this joyous Diamond jubilee year of Sri Swamiji.
Sri Swamiji then came to the temple complex and performed first Abhishekam to Karya Siddhi Hanuman, offered a garland and Arati. Sri Swamiji then sprinkled the Kalasha water on the idols in the Koshtas around the Hanuman shrine. Sri Swamiji then performed Abhishekam to the new Shiva Lingam installed in the shrine next to Datta temple, Haya Greeva Swami, Dhanvantari, Ganapathy, Subrahmanya and then performed first Abhishekam to mother goddess Raja Rajeshvari Devi. Finally, Sri Swamiji performed Abhishekam to Adi Guru Dattatreya & Anagha Devi. Thousands of devotees came in a line and took Darshana of all the deities and received Annadanam. Sri Swamiji arrived in Sachchidananda Hall and made devotees to meditate for a while in silence.
In the evening, Sri Swamiji gave a scintillating Bhajan session. Sri Swamiji was offered Mysore Pak cake as 75th Birthday offering by devotees.
On 5th morning, Sri Bala Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja in the temple hall. During Puja, the first Sangeeta Vidushi. Bhavadharini Venkatesh and her disciple ***.Hema Suresh offered Sangeeta Seva. Sri Swamiji came and performed Gau Puja, offered Purnahuti of Maha Ganapathy Homa. Sri Swamiji unveiled temple inauguration plaques in English & Tamil. Being Chauti day, Sri Swamiji offered Modaka Naivedya to Ganapathy as part of Sankashta Hara Chauti Vratam. Sri Swamiji then performed Ashtottara Nama Archana to mother goddess Raja Rajeshvari Devi, Dattatreya & Anagha Devi & Hanuman. Sri Swamiji spoke and ordered devotees to chant two “Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mantra. The regular Tvamasmin Karya Niryoge & a new Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mantra. Sri Bala Swamiji chanted them and devotees followed the chant. The new mantra is

rAghvastatsamArambhAnmayi yatnaparO bhavEt
Chennai Ashrama had arranged charities to kids with disabilities. Sri Swamiji distributed them. School uniform clothe to 175 under privileged children in a school was offered.
The workers connected with the construction of temple were honored by Chennai Ashrama. Sri.Ramani, Trustee of Chennai Ashrama spoke about the growth of Ashrama from 1984 to present day. Chennai devotees honored Sri.Jayaraman, executive trustee of Chennai Ashrama and a driving force behind the temple development. Sri.Sankaran, Sri.Ramani & Sri Jayaraman - three active trustees are aged over 80 were honored. Sri Swamiji gave Prasadam to temple donors.
In the evening, carnatic classical vocal duet concert took place. Sri.Abhishek Raghuram and Sri Kunnakudi Bala Murali Krishna sang together in a unique combination. Vid.Karaikkudi Mani accompanied on Mridangam. Vid.Guru Prasanna on Kanjira and Vid.H.N.Bhaskar on Violin accompanied the artists. They sang Pujya Swamiji's Jai Jai Ganapathy in Hamsa Dhwani, Dattatreya Tritmurti Rupa in Ranjani and Ri Ri Swarakshara Kriti in Sahana Raga among others. Sri.Ravi Jayaraman honoured the artists.
On 6th March 2018 Pujya Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja, During Puja, devotees chanted 9 times Hanuman Chalisa in Tamil language composed by Pujya Swamiji. Sri Ramani spoke about the contributions of Shri.K.V.Aiyappan to Chennai Ashrama. He was honored by Pujya Swamiji. The six day visit concluded with Dolotsava for Pujya Sri Swamiji.
Pujya Swamiji left for Mayamuktavadhoota Datta Kshetram in Acharpakkam Ashrama at 4 PM.
