Sri Swamiji, having performed at several prestigious Concert halls around the globe, had agreed to the prayer of devotees in Malaysiato bless a program at the KLCC - Pleanery hall , KL. The First concert was held in 2008, and now after 10 years the Malaysian devotees and the members of Gnana Bodha Sabha of Malaysia, arranged for 2 great events on a single day, the first ever such feat to be ventured by any of Pujya Swamiji’s organizations, world wide, The Sampoorna Bagawad Gita Parayana in the Morning & the Nada Jaya Ragasagara - music for meditation in the evening - both at the same venue.
Sri Swamiji arrived in Kuala Lumpur on 5th December evening from Bengaluru.
On 6th Pujya Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja in the Hanuman temple in the morning. Later, Sri Swamiji gave interview to a correspondent from Tamil Nanban.
In the evening, Pujya Swamiji came to temple while Bhajan group from Mysuru Ashrama sang Bhajans. Later, Sri Kunasekaran, President of Gnana Bodha Sabha, Malaysia gave a welcome speech and welcomed Pujya Swamiji to Malaysia.
On 7th morning Pujya Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja. Later, Sri Swamiji acceded to the request of Malaysia devotees to consider a "Mauna - Silence retreat session in a secluded location in Malaysia in 2019 or 2020.
No program was held in the evening while members went ahead with the preparations for next day’s programs.
On Saturday 8th December 2018, history was scripted Pujya Swamiji and members of Gnana Bodha Sabha Malaysia. For the first time ever, two mega programs were held on the same day. In the morning entire Bhagavad Gita was chanted and in the evening Pujya Swamiji’s meditation music program was held at Kuala Lumpur Civic Center known as KLCC.
The Sampoorna Bhagavad Gita was Chanting commenced at 9 AM, with the offering of lamps by Sri Swamiji and Sri Prabhakaran, the Youngest MP of in the parliament of Malaysia, offered Garland to Sri Swamiji . The very meaningful and ever enchanting Sampoorna Bhagavad Gita Chanting was rendered by 11 participants. - 6 from Malaysia, 2 from Kuwait and 3 from Mysuru. Apart from the 11 on stage which chanted Bhagavad Gita from memory, 29 participants who underwent Gita learning by reading Gita book chanted Bhagavad Gita, sitting in the auditorium, with the aid of Gita book. They learnt Gita for fulfilling the promise they had made to Sri Swamiji. Malaysian students started learning the Bhagavad Learning thru Skype from Sri.Srikanth Challa & ***.Archana Penukonda and other teachers from USA.The duo, also came all the way from USA and took personal interest & care to see to it that the Chanting was delivered with perfection & at most devotion. The ending session of the Gita Chanting witnessed Pujya Prabhuji from ISCON group, who offers Garland to Sri Swamiji, further to which Sri Swamiji gave a powerful speech blessing the participants.
The Pleanery hall , a sprawling and modern auditorium, is located at the world famous Twin Tower complex, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city. The hall also boast of the latest Audio visual equipments, of which , Sri Swamiji was immensely happy about.
Within four hours, the stage decorators removed Gita decoration and prepared the stage for the evening music program of Pujya Swamiji.
At 7.20 PM, The MC of the evening,Sri. Kaanthan Shanmugam welcomed Pujya Swamiji and the audience and The president of the GBS Malaysia, Sri Kunashekaran welcomed Sri Swamiji to the program & Sri Jayachandran, the Vice President & Sri.Thiagarajan, Treasurer of Gnana Bodha Sabha Malaysia, garlanded Sri Swamiji.
For the first ever time, yet again, a Giant LCD screen with different Visual effects, depicting the five elements ( earth, fire, water, wind & Space) was displayed, each as a part of of the depicting raga’s of the Concert . This was an unique experience to all. Sri Swamiji started the concert with Pranava Swarupam in Rushyaketupriya Raga , after which he played Jaya Jaya Vani in Kapi Raga, Vande Sivam in Yogini raga followed by Buvanagala Palisuva in Rasika Ranjani raga, followed by Dum Durga in Dhenuka raga (which was the main healing raga of the Concert). It was followed by Happy Tune in Dheera Shankarabharanam and Raga Ragini Mangalam in Sama Raga. The two hour long long Concert was experienced by more than 1000 people. Sri Swamiji explained the importance of the Day’s Nakshatra Moola and its positive effects on the main Raga Dhenuka. The Concert by Pujya Swamiji was indeed a great experience & bliss to all the devotees who witnessed the same. The Celestial troop members comprising of Sri.Jaitra Varanasi on violin, Sri.Shankar Ramesh on Mridangam, Mani on support keyboard & Mahesh Bhat on Tabala accompanied Sri Swamiji.
After the concert Datuk Sahadevan - The MD of National Land Finance Co-operative Society garlanded Sri Swamiji at the end of the concert.Gnana Bodha Sabha members gifted a large pewter plate as gift to Pujya Swamiji. Musicians were also feted.
As Sri Swamiji was walking from the stage, he spotted Smt.Logasundari, & Smt.Sundari daughters of former GBS President, Late Sri.Gunasingam and said “You have won. Your efforts & devotion have won”.
On Sunday 9th December 2018, Abhishekam was performed to Marakata Karya Siddhi Hanuman installed in SGS Ashrama at Kuala Lumpur. Pujya Swamiji offered Arati to the Hanuman and performed Sri Chakra Puja. In His benedictory address, Sri Swamiji exhorted more people to learn Gita by memory. Sri Swamiji also disclosed that He is getting a comprehensive book written on the message of Gita which would be easy to understand.
In the afternoon, new students for second batch of Bhagavad Gita learning were initiated at Ashrama. Pujya Swamiji came to the temple and blessed the new members and gathered devotees.
Sri Swamiji was offered a cake which was prepared with Gita theme.
Pujya Swamiji travelled from Kuala Lumpur to Bengaluru on 10th December 2018 at 9.30 AM.
