Pujya Sri Swamiji in Hanumagiri Kshetra at Ishwaramangala, Karnataka
Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji visited Hanumagiri Kshetra in Ishwaramangala village in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka on 27th December 2018. Pujya Swamiji reached Hanumagiri Kshetra by 1 PM and was received by Trustees Sri Nanya Achuta Mudathaya, Sri.Mahesh Kaje and Sri.Nataraj. It is widely believed that while Hanuman carried Sanjeevini mountain, asmall portion fell here. Hence, the name Hanumagiri. The Kshetra is on a hillock. At the center of the hillock is a shrine for Panchamukha Hanuman and at the top of the hillock is a grand monolith statue of Sri Ramachandra. In the evening, Pujya Swamiji worshipped Ramachandra Murthy and walked down the scenic hillock. On either side of the walk way are rocks with important Ramayana scenes where Hanuman plays a role. Sri Swamiji later worshipped Panchamukha Hanuman. The temple had arranged discourse of Pujya Swamiji who spoke for 35 minutes tracing the story of Hanuman Avatara. Later Deepalankara was done for Hanuman. On 28th morning, Pujya Swamiji travelled from Ishwaramangala to Mangalore airport and to Vijayawada.
