Pujya Sri Swamiji in Chennai - Hanuman Chalisa Parayana Maha Yajna
His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji arrived in Chennai ashram at 7:30pm on January 27th, 2017 to a ceremonial welcome. After a brief rest, Swamiji visited the Hall to bless the devotees. After Swagatam, Swamiji addressed the devotees and asked them to attend the Hanuman Chalisa Parayanam on January 29th. He checked the drawing of the Parayana venue in detail to know the various arrangements made.
Saturday, 28th January, 2017, Morning
Sri Raja Rajeswari and Sri Dattatreya Homas were performed and purnahuti was done at 11:00am. The Chinmaya Narayaneeya Devi group, Madipakkam, chanted Mukunda Mala from 8:30am to 10:30am. Pujya Sri Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamiji performed SRI CHAKRA PUJA at 9-30 am.Chalisa Vaibhavam book which contains beautiful caricatures of Hanumanji and Sri Swamiji taken from the facebook page of Sri Swamiji and also includes Hanuman Charitra with corresponding pictures.
In His discourse, He advised everybody to install SGSPOSTS app in their phones. He said that SGSPOSTS is a link between Himself and the devotees. Everyday morning, if one opens the app, he/she gets a very valuable message from Sri Swamiji in SGSPOSTS.
He also mentioned that everybody should be conscious of their health. To achieve that, one should eat healthy food and what is only required.

The fully packed Hall of devotees were enthralled with the super Nama Sankeertana of Pujya Sri Swamiji. The whole Hall was having the divine vibration which every one of the devotees present was experiencing. People were transported to different world where they did not see anything except Pujya Sri Swamiji’s glorious image. The Nama Sankeertana session was unbelievable to say the least. Sri Swamiji was so happy with the hall acoustics and He declared that Sachchidananda hall is nothing but a recording studio.
29th January, 2017, Morning
Anjaneya homa was performed and Purnahuti was done at 11.00 am. Chennai Ashram bhajan mandali presented excellent nama sankeerthana of H.H bhajans till 10.30 am.
Sri Sridhar Narayanan under instructions from H.H, organized a Ratha Yatra in Tamil Nadu visitin 75 temples starting from Rameswaram temple propagating Tamil Hanuman Chalisa sung by H.H., and completing the yatra in Chennai. Yatra lamp was “handed” over to Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji, with chendai melam and folk dance. H.H was really happy for this.
Sunday, 29th January, 2017 – HANUMAN CHALISA MAHA YAGNAM
Hanuman Chalisa Maha Yagnam was organized with Sadgurudeva’s presence, on the grounds of A.M.Jain college, Meenambakkam, Chennai. Programme started at 4-45 pm. The venue was arranged with beautiful stage, and nicely organized all infrastructure requirements for an event of this nature. Everyone of 21,800 people who attended was so enthralled by the powerful Divine presence of our Sadgurudeva and many of them felt the Sacred vibrations on listening to and singing HANUMAN CHALISA with H .H. Chennai ashram is very fortunate to have organised this Divine event with the blessings of Parama Pujya Sri Sri Sri Swamiji.
