Music maestro SP Balasubrahmanyam visits Hanuman Temple in Frisco 4th August 2015
India's most famous film song playback voice - S.P.Balasubrahmanyam made a surprise visit to Marakata Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple in the evening of 4th August 2015. Learning about Sri Swamiji's stay in Dallas, Sri.SP as he is endearingly known, brought along a group of young talented artists to get the Blessings of Hanuman & Sri Swamiji. They witnessed the Sri Chakra Puja by Sri Swamiji in the Hanuman shrine.
Shri.SP sang Shri Kshipra Varala Shloka of Sri Swamiji, "Shivani Bhavani" from Swati Kiranam movie (videographed in Mysore Ashrama prayer hall) & Shankara Nada Shareera from movie Shankarabharanam. The audience were surprised to see SP Balasubrahmanyam concert in the temple.
The musical programs Sri.SP.Balasubrahanyam conducted in Nada Mantapam titled "Padutha Theeyaga" & "Ede Thumbi Haduvenu" were greatly appreciated by general public.
After the concert, Shri.SP Bala Subrahmanyam spoke about Sri Swamiji's greatness in planning the sprawling design of the temple and the plan to assemble devotee houses around the temple. Shri.SP called the place a "Datta Agraharam". Sri Swamiji honored the veteran and renowned musician with a shawl & memento. All along, the humility of the great artist was present throughout.
Within a week of opening, the Marakata Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple has become the place to go for musicians.
