Report of second day of Pratishthapana program of Karya Siddhi Hanuman in Frisco, Dallas, Texas - 19th July 2015
In the morning, Pujya Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja. Smt.Tanmayee Krishnamurthy offered Carnatic Sangeeta vocal concert during Puja. After the Puja, Yogini Kaliji offered garland to Pujya Sri Swamiji. Several mementos were released by Pujya Sri Swamiji. These mementos will be given away to various specialists who were part of the temple construction and to supporters of the temple project. Pujya Sri Swamiji blessed Sri.Thimmaiah Konganda of Epsilon Architecture. Hailing from Kodagu region of Karnataka, Sri.Thimmayya has been offering architectural services to the temple project and is considered a member of the core team. He and is family members received Blessings and memento from Pujya Gurudeva. Sri.Achille Confuorto and his son Achille Confuorto have been the painters of the temple shrines and towers. Sri.Achille, hailing from Italy has researched in to the Indian architecture. The sublime and soothing color combination he has selected for the temple has won appreciation from many. Sri.Niranjan Babu of Bengaluru was also honored and Blessed by His Holiness with a temple memento. Sri Swamiji also honored members of Jesus Datta Retreat Center Ashrama from Pennsylvania, the first Ashrama established by Sri Swamiji in USA. In a breif discourse, Pujya Sri Swamiji explained the concept of a temple and its relation to human body. Sri Swamiji referred to a self composed Bhajan - Dehamu Okate Devalayam". Being a Sunday, the temple was almost full.
Various rituals connected with the Pratishthapana programs continued in the Yaga Shala. Sri Swamiji then held discussions with Subrahmanya Sthapathy, the temple architect who has constructed this magnificent Hanuman temple.
In the afternoon, Sri.Datta Yogi Raja conducted Yoga classes.
In the evening, Bhajans were held in the new temple hall. Pujya Sri Swamiji sang Shloka from Vanara Geetha. Datta Peetha Asthana Vidwan and scholar, Sri.Rani Subbayya Deekshitulu elaborated the meaning of the Shloka chanted by Pujya Sri Swamiji. He also spoke on Lord Hanuman.
