HH Swamiji in Trinidad 2016 Kumbhabhisheka & Chanting
Pujya Sri Swamiji in Trinidad - Hanuman's 13th anniversary Brahmakalashabhisheka, Consecration of Sri Ram Parivar & Satyanarayana Swamy shrines, Hanuman Chalisa Yajna.
Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji arrived in Trinidad on 26th July 2016. This was Sri Swamiji’s 40th year of Trinidad visit, the first in 1976. A large crowd of devotees awaited Sri Swamiji’s arrival in Dattatreya Yoga Centre in central Trinidad with singing, drumming and dancing. Very Trinidad-sque.
In the evening of 27th July 2016, the Pratishtha Yagas & rituals of Sri Ram Parivar & Satyanarayana Swamy shrines and the 13th year Brahma Kalashabhisheka of Karya Siddhi Hanuman commenced in the Ashrama Yaga Shala.
In the ensuing three days, Sri Swamiji blessed devotees with Sri Chakra Puja in the morning and Bhajans in the evening. Sri Swamiji sang new Bhajans every day. The new Bhajan group of Ashrama sang the new Bhajans during Puja the next day.
On Sunday, the 31st July 2016, Sri Swamiji offered Purnahuti of Pratishtha Homas and carried Brahma Kalasha from Yaga Shala to Hanuman shrine. Sri Swamiji performed the 13th year Brahma Kalashabhisheka to Hanuman. Later, Sri Swamiji consecrated the idols of Sri Ram Parivar & Satyanarayana Swamy in the new shrines built on either side of the 85 feet tall Hanuman Murti.
In the evening, the much anticipated mass Hanuman Chalisa chanting program took place in the sprawling field in front of Hanuman. Over 5000 persons, most of them in red dress sang Hanuman Chalisa 18 times with Sri Swamiji. On stage with Sri Swamiji were Mysore Ashrama musicians and the local musicians of Trinidad. As sun set and night dawned, the Hanuman chalisa chanting led an air of happiness and spirituality.
Before the chanting commenced, Sri Vishnu Deo Naraine, lead person of organizing committee welcomed Sri Swamiji. Five organizations involved in spiritual & social works in Trinidad were honored by Sri Swamiji.
Sri Swamiji dedicated the sgshanumanchalisa.video website to the world. This contains over 40,000 Hanuman Chalisa video recording by individuals from across the globe. Guinness world records official declared that this was a new world record for “World’s largest online video album”. At the award ceremony recognizing the World Record, the Guinness World Records representative Mr. Alex extolled the various comprehensive efforts of His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji for establishing and improving universal peace. He expressed his utmost happiness and amazement at the attractive leadership of Sri Swamiji due to which he was able to witness yet another massive prayer chant by a congregation of more than 11,000 people lead by His Holiness, in this small Caribbean island nation, despite the thunder storms.This is the fifth Guinness World Record set by His Holiness Dr. Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, who has earlier created world history by leading a mass chanting event for universal peace with over 128,000 people in India, Largest Music Therapy lesson in Sydney, Australia, a Marathon Prayer Chant for World Peace in Dallas, US and the largest Pranayama Lesson for individual well-being in Milpitas, US. Sri Swamiji’s works often appear in newspapers and periodicals around the globe.
After the evening chanting program, as Sri Swamiji walked from the stage, the 85 feet tall Hanuman was bathed in the colors from Trinidad National flag.
Trinidad roared to Pujya Swamiji’s call of Hanuman Chalisa and what an evening it was - mesmerizingly, amazing.
On 1st August, Sri Swamiji visited His Ashrama in Princes town and consecrated Shiva Linga & Durga Devi. Later, Sri Swamiji visited Sachchidananda Yoga Ashrama in Penal and consecrated Navagraha deities.
