Sri Swamiji reached Datta Retreat Center ~ DRC, West Sunbury, PA on July 5th and was received by hundreds of devotees. Later, Sri Swamiji went to the nearby Cook Forest Reserve with a small group of devotees. On July 8th Sri Swamiji addressed the group of devotees present.
On July 9th morning, Sri Swamiji visited the Datta Temple Shrine that has the 3 rocks (Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva). After the Arati at the temple, Sri Swamiji sat near the Shiva rock and started meditating. After a few minutes, Gurudeva identified a spot on the Shiva rock which He marked with chalk. This spot is for the devotee to put their two hands on the rock and meditate sitting in Padmasana. Sri Swamiji instructed to paint the identified positions with permanent paint. Sri Swamiji came out and sat near the Vishnu rock along with a lucky few devotees and meditated for few minutes. Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja in the Universal Prayer Hall. During Puja, Bala Datta group from New Jersey efficiently sung many Bhajans of Sri Swamiji. After Sri Chakra Puja, daughter of Sri Meghnath Chavva performed Kuchipudi Dance for Bhajan composed and sung by Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji released Audio CDs and Silver Jubilee Celebration T-shirt that said “Bhakthireva Gariyasi”. Sri Swamiji then released the 3rd edition of “Wonders of the HOLY MASTER” book. This book contains more than 100 devotee’s experiences with their Master Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji. Bala Datta Group had sold Lemonade in a special stand organized by them, all the proceedings from the stall were presented to Sri Swamiji by the small kids aged from 5 -10 years.
In the evening Sri Swamiji blessed the devotees with a scintillating Bhajan session
On Sunday, July 10th DRC celebrated the Silver Jubilee Celebrations. The programs started with Sri Swamiji performing Purnahuti to Ganapathy Homa. Sri Chakra Puja was performed by Sri Swamiji. After Sri Chakra Puja, Sri Ramana from DRC presented to Sri Swamiji the first LP recording of Swamiji during his 1976 visit. He explained the mystical ways how this record came to existence. This LP record is a pre-release, Sri Swamiji presented this LP record copies to devotees those who supported DRC for the past 25 years. Later, Sri Swamiji was presented with the Proclamation from Mayor of Pittsburg along with the Pittsburg Steelers (Football) Champions Cap.
Sri Swamiji blessed all the devotees present at the function who have through the years helped and supported DRC and Sri Swamiji’s activities in the area.
