More than 30 thousands devotees in Vijayawada listened to the divine notes coming out of Pujya Sri Swamiji's synthesiser for more than two hours.
The main rendition of the day's healing music session was "Yoga Chakra Raga Sagara" comprising of six Ragas, , Lalita, Chandrajyoti, Sree Ranjani, Hamsanandi, Amari, and Malayamarutam. These six Ragas were for the Six Chakras in the body from Muladhara, Swadhishthana, Manipuraka, Anahata, Vishuddha and Ajna.
The sprawling grounds started to fill up from 3 PM itself. At 5 PM, mass chanting of Lalita Sahasra Nama was chanted. Vijayawada was the chosen place by Sri Swamiji to install the Marakata stone Raja Rajeshwari idol. Kanaka Durga Devi temple is the presiding deity of Vijayawada.
At 6 PM, Dr. Phanishree M.D. from the music therapy division in Mysore Ashrama hospital gave a power point presentation and spoke about Sri Swamiji's concept of Music therapy and Raga Ragini Vidya. Sri Swamiji arrived on the stage at 6.15 PM. Holding a crystal wand, Sri Swamiji wandered around the huge stage. The concert was inaugurated at 6.30 PM by Dr. Chakrapani, Chairman of AP Legislative Council. several prominent personalities from Andhra Pradesh were present. A new Video DVD documentary of the recently concluded Dattatreya Jayanti was released.
Sri Swamiji played Pranavaswarupam, Jai Jai Ganapati, Yoga Chakra Ragas, Mahabharata tune in Keeravani Raga and Raga Ragini Mangala in Sama Raga. The program ended at 9.15 PM.
Tens of thousands of people attended the program and sat through the musical voyage with elan and quiet. Separate enclosures for physically challenged, patients with chronic ailments, musicians were thoughtfully arranged. giant video screens brought Sri Swamiji closer to those seated far. The set decoration on the stage resembled the stone temple of Raja Rajeshwari in Vijayawada Ashrama.
The programme was telecast live on "Samskruti" Television channel.
