Sri Swamiji in Jaya Durga Teertham,Undavalli, Banks of Krishna river for Ratha Saptami

  • Pujya Swamiji decided to celebrate Ratha Saptami (holy day pertaining to sun god on the banks of Krishna river at Jaya Durga Teertham). It is also customary that Aaradhana of Surappa Poundareeka Yaji (Ancestor of Sri Swamiji, who was a worshipper of Surya Deva) is also 
    observed on this day.
  • Surya Deepa Puja,Arghya Pradhana (according to the procedures laid out in Padma purana); Dwadasha Aditya Aradhana - Surya Namaskaram, Surya Yagna, Aruna Homa were performed by His Holiness at 6.30 AM.
  • It was a magnificent scenario to witness the Surya Yaga performed in twelve Homa Kundas, by Veda Pundits in the presence of Sri Swamiji. The environment was filled with piety, amidst prayers by devotees.
  • Sri Swamiji in his message cautioned that this year would be critical for the society and the planet. Therefore all of us shall indulge in soulful prayers to the Almighty.
  • Devotees, residing in this area should make it a habit to visit this Teertham on full moon days and support the ensuing activities.
