His Holiness Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji has blessed the devotees of Andhra Pradesh with His holy Darshan on the eve of Gregorian New Year. Rudra Homa, Ayushya Homa and Surya Homa were performed on this occasion.
In the evening, Pujya Sri Swamiji unveiled the stone plaques engraved with Tripura Bhajans next to the Marakata Raja Rajeshwari Temple, at Vijayawada Ashrama. The Devi temple built according to Nava Avarana Devi worship, is now adorned with these literary gems on Mother Goddess, composed by Sri Swamiji. Srichakra Puja was performed in front of the Temple to the delight of Thousands of devotees.
On this joyous occasion, an audio CD - "Sangati Smarana", containing Harmonium rendition of Pujya Sri Swamiji's Bhajans by Sri. Arokya Swamy was released. Sri Arokya Swamy (Called as RKSwamy by Sri Swamiji) has been playing Harmonium for Sri Swamiji's Bhajans for more than 40 years. Sri Swamiji spoke offering glowing tributes to the services of Arokya Swamy to Sri Swamiji's Divya Nama Sankeertana and Healing music. Sri Swamiji said that since 1968, Arokya Swamy was indispensable to Sri Swamiji's singing. His Holiness has recalled an incident in His maiden trip to US, where bhajans were sung and fetched the first income to Ashrama. Sri Arokya Swamy was member of that team. Then, He spontaneously embraced Sri. Arokya Swamy and mentioned several times that he (Arokya Swamy) was more than a devotee or an elder brother (82 years) and proclaimed that he was a good friend. Both Sri Swamiji and Arokya Swamy had tears in their eyes when the release program was over. Sri. MVS Choudary, Trustee of Vijayawada Ashrama garlanded Sri. Arokya Swamy. Both of them were co-devotees and friends for 35 long years. It was through Sri Swamiji that they came to know each other. Vijayawada Trust has presented him a cheque Rs.25,000/- on this memorable occasion. Later, Students of Uma Maheshvara Naatya Mandali, Mysore performed dance to Sri Swamiji's Bhajans.

Sri Swamiji has blessed the students of Sri Jayalakshmi Ma Siva Chaitanya Students at Chaitanya Tapovanam near Tadepally, Gunturu District. Avadhoota Datta Peetham has donated Rs.10 lakhs for the construction of this school building. Pavamana Homa was performed in the evening on the occasion of Pushya Poornima.

Next day, Pujya Sri Swamiji left the beautiful Jaya Durga Teertham Ashrama, after Sri Chakra Puja on the banks of tranquil Krishna River. In the evening, He arrived in Nujiveedu Deva Deva Datta Kshetram. In a thought provoking speech, He enlisted the benefits of adorning Uniform. (See the text of the speech.)

Sri Swamiji has consented to stay in this Ashrama for 7 days after the construction of New Block and blessed other development, Annadanam and charity activities. Suvasini Puja was also performed by Matru Mandali. Sri Swamiji left for Gunturu in forenoon. This year the program in Gunturu was organised meticulously by a committee comprising important personalities of Gunturu. Sri Paturi Nagabhushanam (ex chairman Gunturu ZP and President of Gunturu Ashrama Committee) convenor of this committee has taken lead commendably to organise this trip comprising of Nada Prasara Music For Meditation and Healing program.
Sri Swamiji was reverentially welcomed at Vadlapudi village on the outskirts of Gunturu. He has blessed the villagers and thousands of children for their bright future and advised them to listen to Music daily for better memory in addition to singing Bhajans. In the evening, Srichakra Puja was performed. Sri Dhulipala Narendra Kumar Ponnuru MLA, T Murali Deputy Mayor, Smt. Jayalakshmi IAS – District Collector, Local politicians and prominent persons had participated in the welcome function. Sri Nagabhushanam had aptly conducted the proceedings, intermittently giving out His experiences with Sri Swamiji.

Nada Prasara
The advent of Raga Ragini Nada Therapy system, which was in the brink of extinction, was launched in 1987 by Pujya Swamiji. Since the first concert of Music for Meditation and Healing in the Netherlands on 14th July 1987, hundreds of such Music sessions/ Concerts have taken place. And it is a pride for devotees of His Holiness that this Music Therapy has become immensely popular, reminding us carnival or tradition fairs at some places with thousands assembling at stadiums/ large grounds. These programs were held at many prestigious auditoria in the east and west and were acclaimed by professional musicians and lay men alike. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first ever concert, it is decided to organise concert by Pujya Swamiji in Holland on the same day. Accordingly, all the Music for Meditation and Healing sessions (slated to be conducted this year), would mark the 20th year jubilation and celebration.
Gunturu City was fortunate enough to witness the first concert in 2007, year of 20th Anniversary of First Nada Prasara Concert by Sri Swamiji. The concert was conducted in the sprawling Brahmananda Reddy Stadium. The crowds (exceeding 20 thousand) were elated with the golden touch of soothing music of Sri Swamiji. Raga Vanaspati (Composition – Ilalo Guru Padame) was the main theme. Sri. R. Ramesh on Mrudangam, Sri. Manjunath on Ghatam, Sri. Ramanuja on Morsing, Sri. S. Ramesh on Mrudangam, Sri. S. Mahesh on Tabala, Sri. Mani on Harmonium, Sri Balasai on Flute, Sri. Jaitra Varanasi on Violin, ***. Vedavati on Violin and Sri. G Satish Babu on Violin have accompanied Sri Swamiji. Sri Tulasi Das has spoken about the music of Sri Swamiji.
Honourable Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri K Jana Reddy, Sri Kanna Lakshmi Narayana Minister, Gunturu MP Sri Rayapati Samba Siva Rao, Dr.Kodela Siva Prasada Rao (Former Minister), District Collector Smt. Jayalakshmi, Superintendent of Police and other important persons of the region attended the program.

Sri Swamiji had conducted programs at Gandigunta Datta Digambara Kshetram on Monday. New Block of Guru Nilayam was inaugurated by His Holiness. Former Minister Sri Vadde Sobhanadreeswara Rao, Industrialist Sri Velagapudi Gopala Krishna and Trustees were blessed on this occasion.
In His address Sri Swamiji has appealed devotees not to lose time over trivial matters or junk entertainment (Television soap serials) or unwanted news. Every one should have holistic approach in life and must practice meditation for at least five minutes a day, He averred. He also suggested to Matru Mandali members to conduct Bhajan training sessions and music competition for Children.

After performing the foundation laying ceremony for the new block of Sri Anagha Lakshmi Sadanam (Community Hall) in Gandigunta Ashrama, Sri Swamiji has visited the local residential school “Viswasanti International School” to bless 3000 children. Founder Principal Sri Madala Subrahmanyeswara Rao and his team of teachers were advised to make meditation with music and morning prayers, part of daily schedules.
Arriving in Machilipatnam Ashrama, Sri Swamiji performed Navagraha Yagna Purnahuti. Devotees in Machilipatnam have built Datta Paramapara icons on the main stage. After Srichakra Puja, Executive Trustee Sri C Ramchandra Rao welcomed. Two- minute silence was observed in memory of two long standing devotees of Machilipatnam Sri Vidiyala Venkateswara Rao and Sri Vedantam Ananta Padmanabha Acharya.
In the evening, Raga Sagara Music for meditation and Healing session was conducted on the grounds of Hindu College. President of the Education Group Dr. Dhanvantari Acharya, Secrtary Sri Daita Ramachandra Sastry, Sri CHSN Raju, Yoga instructor and other dignitaries have lit the Lamp to inaugurate the program. Hamsanadam and Chakravakam were the main Ragas in this concert “Raga Sagara". The concert stage Back Drop depicted Lord Panduranga Swamy, presiding deity of a popular local temple at Chilakalapudi and Sea (Sagara). His Holiness dedicated this concert to the memory of sri Chetana shiva Rudin of switzerland who passed away recently. The roland D50 synthesizer which sri swamiji uses for music program, was first gifted by him in the year 1987. Sri Swamiji fondly recalled that special event.

In a remarkable achievement, local volunteers Sri Subrahmanyam, Ravikant and K Bhaskar have edited and submitted the CD of previous days concert “Live in Machilipatnam” for its release within 12 hours of the concert. Sri Swamiji was very happy with focus and dedication of the members.
In the evening, Meditation session was conducted with Pranayama. Later Sri Swamiji has blessed the plans of the Trust for the development of International Kriya Yoga Centre in this Ashrama. 10 Cottages for those interested in meditation, Yoga Practice; Annapoorna Mandiram, Herbal Gardens are important aspects of the development plan. His Holiness has advised all the members of Kriya Yoga group and Datta Devotees to join hands to build these cottages “Kriya Yoga Gnana Kuteera Malika”. Bhumi Puja for this construction was performed.
