Later in the Garuda Mantapam, the auditorium near the Datta Venkateswara Temple, Sri Swamiji presided over the annual World Conference of the Gnana Bodha Sabhas of India and Datta Yoga Centres abroad. Hon'ble Former President of India Sri. R. Venkataramaninaugurated the Conference by lighting a lamp. About fifty branches of Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Ashramas submitted their annual reports and audited accounts. Datta Yoga centres of USA, UK, Germany, West Indies, Malaysia etc. have also were represented by their activists.
Sri Swamiji was pleased with the social cultural religious and spiritual services being rendered by the various centres In His message Sri Swamiji gave the devotees the following instructions.

Study philosophy(Vedanta) and arrange lectures of scholars on the subject at your centres and follow the principles in your daily life.

Give proper training to your children about the principles of moral life.

Propagate the tenets of Datta and Datta Venkateswara in and around your centres

As much as you can, make sincere efforts to develop the parent organisation (Mysore Ashrama_.

Improve the activity of Annadanam (feeding of food) in your centres Those centres where it is not started yet, kindly do so now. Every household should offer at least a fistful of Rice daily.

Your sincere involvement is needed for the development of the centres and mere passive suggestions are not needed.

Develop love and devotion to your motherland, whatever be your nationality, improve patriotism in your conduct.

Develop Dharma (righteousness) in the thought word and deed. Even in your pastime or leisure do not immoral or horrible scenes in your TV or Video. Do not read books and periodicals of undesirable literature.

Make it a habit to chant the following verse along with Datta Stava in your prayer and before taking food. This verse is the Guru Paduka Sloka (praise of Guru’s feet). By doing so, you will be blessed by the Guru both in the material and spiritual progress.

In the evening a historic and excellent Jugalbandi (duet) concert of two experts of music, Padma Vibuhshan Sri Bhimsen Joshi (Hindustani classical) and Padma Vibhushan Sri Mangalampali Balamurali Krishna. The accompanies were Sri Sudhir Naik (Harmonium), Sri Ravindra Yavagal (Tabla), Sri Govinda Rotu (Tambura), Sri Srinivasa Joshi (CO-singer), Sri V.V. Ravi (Violin) and Sri K.V. Prasad (Mridangam). The Nada Mantapa was overfilled with audience and an equal number enjoyed the ecstatic music in the nearby auditorium, watching the closed circuit TV of the program.
Sri Swamiji blessed the musicians to whom the Datta Peetham honoured were given by Sri. R Venkataraman, Hon'ble Former President of India and Chairman of the celebrations committee.
